Either way, this will automatically launch the SmartDesk Virtual Machine if it is not already running, followed by the web server loader. Press the continue button to complete the server start process. Once completed, the server will be online and available for processing requests. You can access your online server by entering your IP address into your browser, as in: http://your_ip_address, or by entering the word localhost instead of the IP address. Others trying to reach your server will need to enter the IP address to connect, unless you have assigned a domain name to your server. WebSuite can be started by double clicking on the WebSuite Server icon located in the SmartDesk program group. You can also start the server by clicking on the Windows START button, then PROGRAMS, then SMARTDESK, followed by the WebSuite Server program item. You can also type in the name of the name and location of the WebSuite server using the Windows RUN command.
